Meet GGG Art 🍵
GGG was born in mid-2022. At first it was just me experimenting with air-drying clay, creating magnets, little plates, in short, anything that caught my attention.
The first piece I made with this type of clay, ironically, was a cup, it was only decorative, but deep down what I wanted most was to be able to use it. 🥹
It is because of this that I immerse myself in an immense search for how to make my piece utilitarian, this is how little by little I begin to discover this whole world of ceramics that at that time was something unknown to me, it seemed impressive to me that all over the world there were so many people with the same ideas and the same passion as me.
I learned a lot about clays, glazes, kilns, in short, I found so much overwhelming information that at the same time dazzled me and motivated me to get fully involved.
Little by little I began the search for each material I needed and most importantly, ✨the oven✨.
It was not easy at all, there were very few suppliers and only 3 ovens in my country. 🤯
Every day was a new challenge, hundreds of damaged pieces, cups with uneven mixing, glazes that didn't turn out right and many more experiences that always left me frustrated but also taught me a lesson.
2023 arrived and you could say that ceramics was already part of my life, however I still didn't know exactly what place it occupied.
It was this year that I started documenting every part of my process on my Instagram account, which I originally used to share my paintings (since painting is my first love 🤭).
There was more and more clay and less paint in my publications, and so, suddenly, without realizing it and without having planned it too much, I began to sell some of my pieces.
At the beginning it was my family and friends who supported me, this gave me the push I needed to focus more on ceramics as a business, even without believing that someone could really like something I had made with my hands.
And I still don't believe it to be honest 🙈
It took a lot of sleepless nights, a lot of practice, and most of all, a lot of disappointments, all in order to improve my technique and learn as much as I could to ensure I delivered the highest quality product possible. 💌
I know that at first glance it may not seem like a big deal, but there really is a lot of effort, dedication and love behind each little piece you see in my shop.
I am infinitely grateful to every person who takes the time to appreciate and support my art, it means the world to me.
It's 2024 and I can't wait to see everything that's coming, new products, going international, a list of loyal customers (I love them), an oven on the way...🫢🏃🏽♀️
Well, just a little bit of my story and above all thanks to my ggglovers (I just made that up hahaha).
XOXO 💋
